Choti Lal Paswan
Can the trials and travails of being a Harijan ever end? An oft-repeated question that would haunt Choti Lal Paswan perennially. He struggled as he had to survive out of constant penury and several rebuttals of people in his surroundings. His problems further aggravated as he lost his father at a very tender age. Keeping all the problems at bay he fought akin a true warrior and gave his best to rise and shine.
He strongly feels that in spite of all the facilities provided to people of his origin by the government, it seldom reaches the bonafide beneficiaries. Why? He asked self as well as others. He ran against the wind in procurement of the answers only to fail miserably at the end. This is when he thought of treading the path of educating people of their rights especially of similar background. He has finally decided to join an NGO to accomplish for others what he always longed for self but could never get. He aspires to provide the best possible education to his own children as well as other children of similar backdrop.
